The Website should have the dates on the homepage

Is it just me or do you agree the website should have the dates on the front page as it is hard to find for me a competent computer user and i am sure someone with not so much knowledge will have more problems.

The problem on the homepage is they get pushed down the list as things get added through the season

thats not what i mean i mean on the home page as a fixed thing that cant be moved
i am sure a visitor to the site doesnt know they have to look in the regs to find out dates its confusing

What the site needs is an editor, someone who is responsible for publishing info and keep the site in general good layout.

I maintain the structure of the site, so if it goes wrong gets hacked, needs a software update or any technical requirements i am on hand to sort them.

The software presently used is called Wordpress and it powers >200million websites world wide and has a huge potential to be extended you could add video to the site, google maps, twitter, flickr or rss feeds all easily.

From what i can gather the committee members are all busy running the events so if there is someone out there who would like a go at managing the site, organising the content and bringing it forward please feel free to put your name forward.

If you got good at it you could potentially turn it into a career....!
